Manu 4 days/3 nights, located in the Madre de Dios and Cusco region of Peru, is one of the most extraordinary and biodiverse ecotourism destinations in the world. Manu 4 days/3 nights encompasses a vast expanse of Amazon rainforest, from the Andes Mountains to the Madre de Dios River basin, resulting in an incredible diversity of habitats ranging from high-altitude cloud forests to dense tropical rainforests. This variety of environments is home to an impressive array of species, including jaguars, tapirs, monkeys, parrots, macaws and a wide variety of birds, insects and plants.

Cusco – Cloud Forest – Pilcopata

Day 1

  We will leave Cusco in the morning in one of our vehicles, we will see interesting valleys between the mountains of the Andes.

We will visit the pre-Inca tombs of the Lupaca culture.

We will make a stop in Paucartambo, where we will visit the museum of the city where the most impressive sequence of the museum is the one referred to the Mamacha Carmen, where visitors can appreciate the colorful costumes and masks of the various folkloric dances of the festivity of the Virgin of Carmen.

We will have lunch in the cloud forest which is an area rich in endemic species, such as the spectacled bear and the cock of the rock, we can also see the endemic species.
We will arrive at our lodge, Pilcopata Inn, where we will spend our first night.

Day 2
We will have breakfast very early and get ready to go for a walk where we will observe monkeys, birds, etc.

 We will visit a coca plantation and a wildlife rescue center which is a refuge for displaced native animals or animals confiscated from illegal trade, and some have been abandoned by their previous owners.

After this, we will travel to Puerto Atalaya, where we will board a boat to observe the enormous diversity of bird species.

We will arrive at the lodge and you will be able to swim in the river and have lunch.

In the afternoon, we will visit a swamp where we will be able to observe birds such as toucans, woodpeckers, macaws, etc.

 In the evening, we will go to observe the eyes of the caimans, which glow at night.

Amazon Manu Lodge – Parrot Clay Lick – Zip Line – Machuwasi Lake

Day 3

 Early in the morning, we will board the boat and head to the macaw clay lick, which is a wall along the river bank where different birds flock to eat nutrient-rich clay that helps them digest and eliminate toxins from their bodies.

 Afterwards, we will return to our lodge for a delicious breakfast.

 We will hike through the forest for 3 hours, where we will be able to observe the flora and fauna.

We will return to the lodge for lunch and then rest, swim in the river or go zip lining.

 In the afternoon, we will visit Machuwasi Lake, where we will explore in boats to observe birds, such as the hoatzin prehistoric bird.

We will take a night walk through the forest to look for insects and amphibians.

We will have dinner and spend the night at the lodge.

  + Those who wish can Zip Line and appreciate a unique and breathtaking view of the jungle while flying through the jungle between platforms built high in the trees. Afterwards you can rappel 20 meters to the ground (all the equipment used is of high quality and safe).

After a delicious breakfast, we can enjoy watching the hummingbirds that surround the lodge.

We will have lunch along the route back to Cusco,
